The Houston Chapter of the National Black MBA Association offers scholarships annually to its Leaders of Tomorrow students, as well as undergraduate business and MBA students attending a university in the greater Houston area or originally from the greater Houston area. Over the years, the chapter has awarded over $310,000 in scholarships to African American students.

Undergraduate Scholarship Program

The NBMBAA-Houston Chapter Undergraduate Scholarship Program offers scholarships to African American students enrolled in an undergraduate business or management program with sophomore, junior, or senior status. Applicants must attend a Houston area college/university, OR be a native of Houston and attend any university within the continental United States. Applications are available during the fall semester. Please check back periodically for updates.

MBA Scholarship Program

The NBMBAA-Houston Chapter MBA Scholarship Program offers scholarships to African-American students enrolled in a graduate business or management program in the United States pursuing an MBA degree.  Applicants must attend a Houston area college/university, OR be a native of Houston and attend any university within the continental United States. Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Scholarships

LOT scholarships are offered to graduating LOT students in the spring of their senior year in high school.  Additional scholarships are periodically offered by individual donors and corporate sponsors.  LOT scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the LOT program, based on student participation and LOT Chair input.
