(LOT) Overview
Leaders of Tomorrow® (LOT) is an enrichment program for minority high school students, coordinated locally by the Student Affairs Committee of the National Black MBA Association – Houston Chapter®. The primary objective of this program is to strengthen students’ leadership, academic, and interpersonal skills, which can provide the foundation for success in their personal and professional lives. LOT programming is comprised of activity-based workshops, seminars, case studies, and exposure to formal mentors.
Houston Chapter Program Highlights
- Runs Sept – May
- Meets 2nd Saturday of every month, 9am-Noon
- Each student is assigned a mentor
- Scholarships awarded to active program participants

Enrollment Process
- New students are admitted before the start of each school year
- A new student interest meeting is held in late July/early-August
- The program application is made available to parents and students who attend the interest meeting in early August
- Applicant interviews take place in mid-to-late August
- Accepted students are notified in late August/early September
- The program year begins in September
